His advocacy to let loose a reign of terror by the army in Kashmir is much like the policy followed by former British Parliament Premier Tony Blair who led his country into war in Iraq much against the legal advice. The number of British soldiers he had killed in this war were lost in vain. The soldiers who were killed, their mothers are asking for the trial of Tony Blair for the commission of war crimes. Similarly, Captain Amrinder Singh who has never served on the front in any war like confrontation makes these hollow and arm chair announcements from time to time. When he was Chief Minister of Punjab he appointed SS Virk as the Police Chief of the state although SS Virk had committed heinous crimes of torture, disappearances and extra judicial murders of innocent Sikh’s. It is unfortunate that Punjab and Kashmir are always blessed with Chief Ministers who are collaborators with the Hindu state and the present Mr. Parkash Singh Badal is no less.
